Octink was commissioned by Barratt East London to design and build the marketing suite for its prestigious Waterside Park development in the Royal Docks, E16 - a joint venture with Taylor Wimpey.

Challenge

Despite having created cutting edge interiors for marketing suites for many years, the invitation to design and build the Waterside Park marketing suite complete with two replica show apartments and a stunning roof terrace overlooking the site and Thames Barrier Park presented a real challenge.

Solution

We oversaw the build programme throughout the construction phase and designed and fitted out the interiors. The size, scale and specification of the marketing suites was designed to create a unique experience and customer journey. The ground floor space includes a welcoming reception area, interactive waiting and choices zone, model area with interactive display. Upstairs two show apartments, divided by a spacious meeting/boardroom, were built exactly to the Barratt specification. Large format graphics, digital wallpaper, custom built displays, bespoke made furniture and storage completed the internal decoration.

The impressive approach to the development and external branding was created through a signage strategy comprising a stunning four metre high advertising hoarding, monolith way-finding signage, flags and flagpoles.
