Buglife Partnership Announced

Octink is excited to announce a new partnership with conservation charity, Buglife, the only organisation in Europe devoted to the conservation of invertebrates – from beetles to bees, worms to woodlice and jumping spiders to jellyfish.  In the UK alone, there are over 40,000 species of invertebrates and many of these are under threat of extinction. Worldwide, 150,000 species could quite literally be wiped out by 2050 unless organisations like Buglife are supported in their vital work.

The partnership will develop from our obvious strengths, ie. supplying graphics and event displays, into many other avenues as we encourage our staff to volunteer, we raise funds and raise awareness amongst our clients and suppliers. We will also try to leverage greater support for Buglife through our existing community partners.

“It is a privilege to work with such driven, passionate campaigners at Buglife and we will strive to match their enthusiasm and dedication to this cause. We are 100% committed to this partnership, to raising their profile and helping them as much as we can.” William Tyler, CEO Octink.

Commenting for Buglife, Outreach Officer Dale Harrison said “Buglife are delighted to be supported by Octink, an award winning display specialist recognised in the Sunday Times Best Green Company list since 2009. Octink is passionate about securing a diverse and wildlife-rich planet for future generations and we look forward to a long and fruitful partnership”
