Octink selected for the COI’s new live events framework

January 27 2010

The Central Office of Information (COI) is the Government’s centre of excellence for marketing and communications, and has recently overhauled its framework (roster) of live event agencies, selecting Octink as one of only four agencies able to bid for signage design and production for large scale events, exhibitions and road shows.

Over 1300 agencies were evaluated through a rigorous procurement process, each evaluated on the basis of proven expertise and experience of the company and its staff, quality of service, financial soundness, pricing structure and other organisational information related to procurement requirements.

Simon Hughes Director of Live Events, whose team undertook the exercise said “My team is really looking forward to working with the new framework agencies in what will be a challenging period. We’re very confident that we have the best mix of talent to help us devise great event solutions for our clients.”

William Tyler, CEO of Octink, commented “Octink is proud to be selected for this world-class framework and we are very excited at the opportunity of working with the live events team on a broad range of projects in the coming 4 years”.

Hounslow Green Business Award 2009

January 19 2010

It was with some satisfaction that we learnt last week that we have retained the Green Guardian Award for Hounslow! This local borough award recognises those in the local community that are passionate about raising environmental awareness whilst supporting green initiatives and projects. Octink has again been named Green Business of the Year for the borough, and just like last year we now move onto represent Hounslow at the regional final at the end of February where we will be up against the greenest businesses in South West London.
