Octink investment in GMG Software achieves FOGRA certification

January 19 2012

Octink has started the new year with a bang, becoming a Fogra certified large format printer. Fogra certification is an internationally recognised mark of distinction and demonstrates our commitment to the highest standards in print quality. The achievement follows a significant investment in GMG software at the end of 2011, providing internal controls to create profiles for every printer and media combination currently in use. We then carry out weekly re-calibration of those printers to ensure we consistently hit the precise colour standards and accurate reproduction of a designer’s original work.

December 14 2011

Octink is delighted to have received the Contractor of the Year Award 2011 from Crest Nicholson Regeneration, one of the UK’s leading property developers.
Crest Nicholson’s Awards recognise the contribution of its suppliers, consultants and sub contractors in making its regeneration schemes a success. Octink has worked with Crest Nicholson for many years and is currently providing the signage, hoardings and marketing suites for its major regeneration projects in Birmingham, Bristol, Bath and Southampton.
Deborah Aplin, Managing Director of Crest Nicholson Regeneration, comments: “I would like to congratulate Octink on winning our Contractor of the Year Award, which was very well deserved. The support that you provide around the clock is very much appreciated and shows that you are very much part of the team.”
The award was presented at the inaugural Crest Nicholson Regeneration Awards & Charity Event, which raised £18,796 for the Variety Club to fund a sunshine bus for disabled and disadvantaged children.
